Meet the Chairs of the PAX committee and why they chose High Point Academy.

I have a child in sixth grade and third grade and my family has been at knifepoint since they were both in kindergarten we chose High Point we have friends that was a high point they talked to us about how amazing it was when we first visited and how do things like love best about my family's time High Point the way that I've been able to volunteer in my school Community I'm part of the tax committee the parks committee is similar to a PTA in other schools we are committed to help towards a parent Volunteers in the school please help post-event to build communities such as family dinner night and we also helped coordinate the uniform sales throughout the year what are the benefits of having a committee parents with different strengths to working together and I have two kids at school being a sixth grader now and my husband and I moved from a different country trying to figure out the education system so when we did get into High Point the way we were introduced to the curriculum the families on campus seeing how courteous the kids were we felt very at home I decided to chair the book fair it's a major fundraiser for a library in addition to having the books are all through the year along with our amazing librarian so that's the other exciting aspect of library book it program my name is hanging pot and Mike is currently on the 8th grade in the fourth grade of High Point my oldest started High Point in kindergarten and my youngest pretty much grew up on campus because I wanted to get involved one of the reasons why the Sky Pointe felt very comfortable in Florida few schools it was our first child it was very important but once we got in campus first or we just got this phone here so I helped identify parents who work directly with the teachers and then I can help out in the classroom in the library in the art room and I'm campus 2 Furious event hi my name is Cheryl Brown kindergarten and she's now a sixth grader and she's my only child Hi-Point 40 Community my daughter has Excel academically there she feels like it's a home for her and if she feels like she's connected with the teachers and students one of the things that I'm in charge of is doing the hot lunch favorite thing available at Squaw to volunteer this school is a great school and we love it I am in the packs for many years now and I am looking forward to being here for the next 3 years
