Holiday Toy Drive

Wow! Our High Point community really stepped up for our food drive last month! We want to keep up the spirit of giving and so have partnered with Children's Law Center of California for a HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE! All items collected will go to children in foster care right here in Los Angeles County, once again directly benefiting our community. See the attached flyer for the wish list of needed items. Drop off new, unwrapped items between December 9-11th at the Eagle.

Book Donations Needed!

We (Taylor T. and Sophia C.), from the 8th grade Girl Scout Troop, need your help! Norma Coombs Elementary school, next to Victory Park in Pasadena, is a school filled with amazing kids. For a few months until quarantine we volunteered to help students with their homework and to help with the after school program. Now, for our Silver Award, we want to accomplish more than just volunteer hours. Instead, we want to create a sustainable project that will help inspire kids at the school to keep reading. So, we decided to make a Little Free Library cart because we noticed that some of their reading options were slim, and a whole new cart full of new books for them to read would really make a difference! We want to fill the Little Free Library full of new or gently used books for grade K-5. BUT, we are asking for your help because we can not get all of these books alone! If you have any new or gently used books that are no longer of use to you and your family, please donate! You can drop off books at HPA by December 17th, or we can pick them up from you anytime if you fill out the form below. Thank you so much for your time! GO EAGLES
