Financial Aid

Financial Aid

Financial aid is designed to assist HPA families with documented financial need in a transparent and equitable manner.  Our school uses Clarity to process financial aid applications, which provides us with in-depth financial analysis that enables HPA to allocate our resources thoughtfully and fairly. All information from Clarity regarding a family’s request for financial assistance is kept confidential. While we wish we could provide aid to all who qualify, the availability of fiscal resources, number of qualified applicants, and overall budgetary considerations do influence financial aid decisions.

When assessing a family's need for aid, we take the entire financial picture into account. High Point believes a family should invest in their child’s education before elective expenses, which will be taken into account when assigning potential awards. For example, secondary home ownership, club memberships, and expensive car leases/purchases are all considered when assessing need.

Financial Aid recipients receive the same percentage discount applied to tuition for the following fees: required technology purchases, field trips, and debate team.

On the Clarity application, you will authorize Clarity to retrieve your prior year’s tax return from the IRS. For example, for the year ending 2025, Clarity will pull your 2024 tax return, W-2s, and schedules. In addition, High Point requires your most recent W-2s (2025) and your last three pay stubs. Please answer all questions on the application, as this ensures a complete analysis of your financial picture and assists the financial aid committee in making its decision. The Clarity application fee is $65.

All families are required to reapply for financial aid every year as awards do not roll over.

Our Clarity financial aid application will open on November 1, 2025.

The deadline for prospective families to apply is February 20, 2026.

*Please note, if you are a returning family and would like to apply for financial aid for the first time, please follow the prospective family deadlines.
