Bio

Christina Mariscal Pasten joined High Point as the new Director of Development in 2015. With over 10 years of fundraising experience, she has worked in the government sector, with non-profit organizations and independent schools. Mrs. Pasten also attended an independent school, and values the small school community and working for the greater good. Her past work experience has required fundraising and donor stewardship, strategic and event planning, grant writing, constituent networking, diversity training, public speaking, staff training, and volunteer management.

Mrs. Pasten earned her Bachelor’s Degrees in History and Spanish from Loyola Marymount University. She subsequently held two positions in local government as a Field Deputy for the City of Los Angeles and as Assistant Legislative Deputy for the County of Los Angeles. After two years in the government sector, she earned her Master’s Degree in Policy, Organization and Leadership Studies from the Stanford University School of Education.

Prior to her role at High Point, Mrs. Pasten served as the Director of Corporate Partnerships for the Autry Museum. She has also served as Assistant Director of Admissions for Marlborough School, and the Assistant Director of Advancement at Loyola High School where she managed the Parent Giving Program.

Eager to work with the High Point community, Mrs. Pasten hopes to continue the steadfast growth of the Annual Fund, while getting to know the families, alumni and all members of the High Point community.
