You will see Norma Richman around campus for the first three months of the year as a long-term substitute, but she has a long history at HPA. Her children Deborah and Jason (classes of 88 and 94 respectively) are products of this school. Norma was a sixth grade teacher for twenty years and can't seem to retire! She has a BA and MA in fine arts and is credentialed in English and Art, with a preliminary credential in Admin Services and post-graduate studies in curriculum and instruction. Her professional interests led her to a philosophy of project-based learning within the framework of a rigorous curriculum. Her outside interests are travel, printmaking, and reading, and—of course—her children.
