After acquiring a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Rutgers College, spending 12 years in the film business, and 3 years as a stay-at-home mom, Jennette Neville had an epiphany. While attending a story time at her local library, she was struck by the realization that all of her interests and strengths were the perfect fit to be a children’s librarian. She soon began grad school, pursuing her degree while balancing life with two small children and an oft-traveling documentary filmmaker husband. She received her Master's of Library & Information Science from San Jose State in 2013. During her studies, she interned at the Pasadena Central Library children's room and at the Sequoyah School Library. She also created a children's literature blog, which recommends great reads for toddlers through teenagers. Jennette is a proud member of the Ukulele Orchestra of the Western Hemisphere and loves to incorporate music into her story times. She is most at home surrounded by children and books and absolutely adores being High Point's librarian.
