Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts
Troop meetings take place on the High Point campus throughout the year.
Dance Classes
Ballet*Tap and Jazz/Hip Hop classes are open to boys and girls in grades K through 4. Please check in the office and on Eagle Mail for information on the next session.
Chess Classes
Chess improves critical thinking, planning and strategy, patience development, problem solving, and good sportsmanship. All levels, from beginning to advanced, from K through 8 are welcome!
Lunch Bunch
Is a junior high club to promote good environmental practices.
Mathnasium
The Mathansium program caters to the needs of ALL math students. Classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
Movie Makers
MovieMakers is a workshop hosted by Mr. Baker. This is a project driven activity open to fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students via interview and audition. See MovieMakers Website for details.
Speech and Debate
High Point Academy seventh and eighth graders compete with several local schools in a Speech and Debate League. Students participate in a variety of speech and debate events in four tournaments held throughout the year.
Student Council
Seventh and eighth grade students elect Student Council representatives who plan community service and social activities for the junior high and the school at large.
