BACK-TO -SCHOOL NIGHT is next week!
Junior High Back-to-School Night will be held on Tuesday, September 9, from 7-9 PM. All parents should meet in Rooms 10-14. Back to-School Night for Grades K-6 will be held on Thursday, September 11. Grades K-2 will meet from 7-8 PM and Grades 3-6 will meet from 8-9 PM. This is for parents only and all parents should meet in their child's classroom.
SCHOOL UNIFORM INFO
There will be a Used Uniform Sale on Friday, September 5, in the Church. The hours are 8-9 AM and 2:30-4 PM. Discounted Logo Wear will also be on sale (mostly adult sizes). True Grits, our new uniform supplier, will be having a 10% discount sale at their store in Glendale from September 9-13. All uniforms, including P.E. clothes and sweats, can be purchased from them. Their web site is www.truegrits.com.
CODE OF CONDUCT
The Code of Conduct for Parent and Student Acknowledgement was sent home today for all parents and students to sign. Please sign it and turn it in right away (one per family).
HOT LUNCH
The Hot Lunch Program will begin Thursday, September 11. The first hot lunch will be In-N-Out burgers. A schedule is listed on the web site under Our Community, For Parents, Forms & Fliers. Everyone should have received a letter in the summer mailing explaining the program.
ON-LINE HPA DIRECTORY
The school directory is available on-line if you log in as you did to complete your emergency form. This directory contains confidential information and is not to be used by any individual, outside agency, or organization for solicitation purposes. Thank you. A directory book will be sent when everyone has updated their information.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS
As of now, Science Adventures for Grades K-5 and Ballet Class for Grades K-3 will begin the week of September 22. More info to follow.
CELL PHONE PERMISSION
Cell phones may be carried at school only by fifth through eighth grade students. Please read the Standards for Cell Phone Use and fill out the Cell Phone Permission Form sent home with your child today if you choose to have your child carry a cell phone to school.
