MovieMakers is a workshop hosted by Mr. Baker. It is not a club.
It is a project driven activity open to fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth
grade students via interview and audition.
Because what we do is technically
demanding and the age range of the participants is wide, self-discipline
is key to the success of the workshop. A professional demeanor is expected.
MovieMakers functions only when
a project is in progress and workshops generally take place after school
from 3:15 to 4:00 PM.
How do you get to work on a movie
crew or act in a movie? Download the appropriate form and register
with Mr. Baker.
Here’s how it works:
As soon as you register, you
are placed on the talent list and/or crew list. You only register
once and your name stays active on the list until you graduate. You
are not obligated to work on any project.
When a project is slated for production
an email is sent to the registry. If you want to participate on the
project, you reply. That’s pretty much how it works. You are
kept in the loop via email.
