| CONCEPT |
|
| Simplicity |
Simple
is good. Simple is quick. Come up with a simple idea and have
fun with it. |
| Doability |
Can
your concept be done with a few people in just a couple of hours? |
| Entertainment
Value |
Whether
it's scary, funny, or art in motion, your idea should be compelling, something
people will want to watch. |
|
|
| COMMITMENT |
|
| Yourself |
Production
for a short project can take one to three consecutive Thursdays.
Editing your project can take about the same amount of time, or longer.
Are you willing to make the commitment? If your concept is worth
doing, then it is worth the time commitment necessary to take it from start
to completion. |
| Your
cast and crew |
Your
cast and crew must make a commitment to work with you three consecutive
Thursdays. |

| SCHEDULING |
|
| Conflicts |
HPA
students are involved in many activities. It is imperative that you
develop and coordinate a workable schedule for your project. Get
people you can depend on to work within your project's time frame. |
| Back-up
Plan |
The
show must go on. If a key player cannot work within your schedule,
find someone who can. |
